When you become a member of Lawrence Bird Alliance, you become part of a group of dedicated people committed to the protection of birds and the habitats that sustain them.
A membership contribution directly to the Lawrence Bird Alliance provides the greatest benefit to our local chapter.
Your chapter membership contributions go directly to LBA’s local education and conservation efforts, including monthly programming, field trips, and Plants for Birds. All chapter members receive 9 issues per year of the email newsletter and discounts on the books and feeders at our Seed Sales. Chapter membership expires each year on June 30.
To pay online using PayPal, debit or credit card: Choose the membership level appropriate for you and click on the "Donate" button in your category. GIFT MEMBERSHIP: Use the payment method below, and also send us an email with the recipient's name, address, and email. We will notify the recipient of your gift.

National Audubon Member Benefits
Audubon magazine delivers essential news, advice, and reporting on birds and bird conservation, pairing compelling journalism with stunning photography and design. Each quarterly issue helps readers grow their appreciation of birds and learn how to help them thrive.
Lawrence Bird Alliance also benefits when you become a member of National Audubon Society.

When you join the National Audubon Society, you are automatically included as a Lawrence Bird Alliance member if you list an address in Douglas County. And if you use the link below, our chapter receives a one-time payment from the national office. In addition to the local membership benefits noted above, with a minimum donation of $20 you receive four issues per year of Audubon magazine. Click here for National Audubon's payment page. To pay by check, download the Membership Form here and mail it with payment to the address on the form. Processing time will be longer for contributions received via mail.
