End of the season
The early spring migrants are showing up one-by-one: Chipping Sparrow, Brown Thrasher, Yellow-rumped Warbler. The Harris’s and White-throated Sparrows are filling the air with song and feasting on the dandelion seeds in my yard. A few Dark-eyed Juncos linger. Today’s early morning snowfall may have brought us back to winter briefly but spring is most certainly in the air. So this is the end of my Project FeederWatch season. I've enjoyed sharing my observations with you over the past five months. It's been a grand adventure!
